Lead by curiosity, Pat Flynn shows us how
to "fail forward" into success.
"If I'm not curious about it, I'm not
going to do the work to figure out, right. I have to be genuinely
curious about something. But then I'm also like, oh, I'm finding
out all this stuff about this thing I'm experimenting with. I have
to share it now."
Pat Flynn is a master of fun and a master of
all trades. He is a father of two, a husband, an entrepreneur, an
advisor, a podcaster, a YouTuber, and an author. He has built
multiple companies, written books, and spoken on stages.
Pat Flynn was laid off from his job as
an architect in 2008 and decided to start an online business
helping people pass an architectural exam. He put the information
online, created an ebook and soon found himself making two and a
half times more money than his salary. He then launched his podcast
Smart Passive Income and wrote a book about testing business ideas.
His latest business ventures include creating a physical product
and a Pokemon YouTube channel. Pat has learned that it's important
to be curious, to lead with his audience needs and to not be afraid
of failure. He's found success by learning from his mistakes and
pivoting in the direction of creating community.
